व्याकरण
शब्द वि + आ + कृ + अन अर्थात कृ धातुमा आ र वि उपसर्ग र अन प्रत्यय लागेर
बनेको हो । (Grammar is formed by the combination of the prefixes "वि"
(Vi) and "आ" (A), the root "कृ" (Kri), and the suffix "अन" (An).)
व्याकरणको शाब्दिक अर्थ भाषिक नियम हो । (The literal meaning of grammar is the rules of language.)
भाषालाई
शुद्ध - शुद्ध किसिमले बोल्न र लेख्न सिकाउने शास्त्रलाई व्याकरण भनिन्छ ।
(Grammar is the science that teaches how to speak and write a language
correctly.)
व्याकरण
त्यो विद्या हो जसद्वारा कुनै भाषा शुद्ध बोल्न, शुद्ध पढ्न र शुद्ध लेख्न
सकिन्छ। (Grammar is the knowledge by which one can speak, read, and
write any language correctly.)
कुनै
पनि विकसित भाषा लेख्न, पढ्न र बोल्नलाई निश्चित नियम हुन्छन् भाषाको
शुद्धता अनि सुन्दरतालाई बनाई राख्नका लागि यी नियमहरूको पालन गर्नु आवश्यक
हुन्छ । (Any developed language has specific rules for speaking,
reading, and writing, and following these rules is essential to
maintaining the purity and beauty of the language.)
नेपाली व्याकरणलाई पाँच भागमा बाँडिएको छ : (Nepali grammar is divided into five parts:)
१. वर्णविभाग (1. Varnavibhag – Alphabet Section)
२. शब्दविभाग (2. Shabdavibhag – Word Section)
३. वाक्यविभाग (3. Vakvyavibhag – Sentence Section)
४. चिह्नविभाग (4. Chihnavibhag – Symbol Section)
५. छन्दविभाग (5. Chhandvibhag – Meter Section)
१. वर्णविभाग = यस विभागमा अक्षरहरूको स्वरुप, किसिम, उच्चारण र मात्राहरूको वर्णन हुन्छ । (1. Varnavibhag (Alphabet Section): This section deals with the forms, types, pronunciation, and quantities of letters.)
२. शब्दविभाग = यस विभागमा शब्दको रुप र भेदहरूको वर्णन हुन्छ । (2. Shabdavibhag (Word Section): This section describes the forms and types of words.)
३. वाक्यविभाग = यस विभागमा वाक्य बनाउने तरिका, वाक्यको रुप र भेदहरूको वर्णन हुन्छ । (3. Vakvyavibhag (Sentence Section): This section deals with the methods of constructing sentences, as well as the forms and types of sentences.)
४. चिह्नविभाग = यस विभागमा विभिन्न किसिमका मनका भाव जाहेर गर्ने सङ्केत, चिह्न र विराम चिह्नहरूको वर्णन हुन्छ । (4. Chihnavibhag (Symbol Section): This section describes the various signs, symbols, and punctuation marks used to express feelings.)
५. छन्दविभाग = यस विभागमा मात्रा, छन्द, पद्य, रचना आदिको वर्णन हुन्छ । (5. Chhandvibhag (Meter Section): This section describes the meter, rhythm, and structure of poetry and verses.)
