पुरुष - NepalI Byakara Purush

 

 

 

व्यक्ति बुझाउने व्याकरणिक कोटि पुरुष हो । (The grammatical category that denotes a person is called "Purush" (Person).)

कुराकानीका सन्दर्भमा आउने वक्ता श्रोता र विषयलाई पुरुष भनिन्छ । (In the context of conversation, the speaker, listener, and subject are referred to as "Purush" (Person).)

नेपालीमा पुरुष तीन थरीका हुन्छन् :- (In Nepali, there are three types of "Purush" (Person):)

१. प्रथम पुरुष (1. First Person)

बोल्ने व्यक्ति वा वक्ता जनाउने पुरुष प्रथम पुरुष हो । (The person who is speaking or the speaker is referred to as the First Person.)

म, हामी, आफू, स्वयं प्रथम पुरुष हुन् । ("Ma" (I), "Haami" (We), "Aafnu" (Oneself), "Swoyam" (Self) are examples of the First Person.)

२. द्वितीय पुरुष (2. Second Person)

कुराकानीका क्रममा आउने श्रोतालाई बुझाउने शब्दहरू द्वितीय पुरुष हुन्छन् । (The words that refer to the listener in a conversation are considered Second Person.)

तँ, तिमी, तपाईं, हजुर द्वितीय पुरुष हुन् । ("Ta" (You - informal), "Timi" (You - semi-formal), "Tapai" (You - formal), "Hajur" (You - highly respectful) are examples of the Second Person.)

३. तृतीय पुरुष (3. Third Person)

वक्ता र श्रोताका विषयका रूपमा आउने शब्दहरू तृतीय पुरुष मानिन्छन् । (The words that refer to the subject of the conversation, apart from the speaker and listener, are considered Third Person.)

ऊ, उनी, उहाँ, यो, त्यो, यिनी, तिनी आदि सर्वनाम र सबै नामहरू तृतीय पुरुष हुन् । ("U" (He/She - informal), "Uni" (They - semi-formal), "Wuha" (He/She - formal), "Yo" (This), "Tyo" (That), "Yini" (These), "Tini" (Those) and all nouns are considered Third Person.)
