कर्ताको लिङ्ग, वचन, पुरुष अनुसार क्रियालाई पनि कर्ताकै लिङ्ग, वचन, पुरुष र आदर अनुसार राख्नुलाई नै पदसङ्गति भनिन्छ ।
(The practice of aligning the verb according to the gender, number, person, and respect of the subject is called concord.)
वाक्यमा सम्बन्धित पदहरू बिचको मेल अथवा एकरूपता नै पदसङ्गति हो ।
(Concord is the harmony or consistency between the related words in a sentence.)
वाक्यका निश्चित क्षेत्रमा वचन, लिङ्ग, पुरुष र आदरको एकरूपता आवश्यक हुन्छ ।
(Consistency in number, gender, person, and respect is required in specific areas of a sentence.)
यस्तो एकरूपता अर्थात सङ्गति नमिलेको वाक्य अधुद्ध मानिन्छ ।
(A sentence where this consistency is not maintained is considered incomplete.)

उसले परीक्षा दिए । ( सङ्गति नमिलेको )
(For example: He gave the exam. (inconsistent concord))
उसले परीक्षा दियो । ( सङ्गति मिलेको )

वाक्यपरिवर्तन गर्दा कर्तालाई जुन लिङ्ग, वचन, पुरुष र आदरमा राखिन्छ, क्रियालाई पनि कर्ता अनुसार नै राख्नुपर्छ ।
(When changing a sentence, the verb must be adjusted according to the subject's gender, number, person, and respect.) -
वाक्य परिवर्तन गर्दा परिवर्तन गर्न दिएको वाक्य कुन लिङ्ग, वचन, पुरुष र आदरको हो त्यो चिन्नुपर्छ । अनि मात्र परिवर्तन गर्नुपर्छ ।
(When changing a sentence, you must first identify the gender, number, person, and respect of the given sentence before making the change.)
